The Globe Theatre

Globe Theatre  See it looking just as it did in the time of Shakespeare, thatch and lots of air! Lovingly restored. The theatre can be toured when there are no plays on and the exhibition on Shakespeare is large and worthy. But there's nothing like seeing the 'real thing' so try and catch a play.  Tel: 020 7902 1500.  It's on the South Bank. Take the Mansion House tube.

Royal Albert Hall - BBC Proms  2007 season runs from 13th July to 8th September. This will be Nicholas Kenyon's last as controller of the BBC Proms.
