The Jubilee Promenade starts at the Tower and goes onwards past
Westminster Bridge.
| Just to get a chance to see all of London from one spot try
the London Eye Ferris Wheel - not the white elephant the Millennium Dome
turned out to be. |

This is fun - you don't even need to borrow
somebody's kids - just go
yourself. Save yourself some time and book on the
web before you go

County Hall Gallery The Dali Universe
is next door to the Ferris wheel so give it a go. It costs a bit to
admire the man's genius but it's worth it. If you're an
admirer of Picasso then you'll find an exclusive collection at
County Hall
Imperial War Museum. Even is
you're not 'into' war this is
an education you shouldn't miss. It's free for kids under 16 and the over 60's.

Globe Theatre. See it looking
just as it did in the time of Shakespeare. Lovingly restored. The theatre can be
toured when there are no plays on and the exhibition on Shakespeare is large and
worthy. But there's nothing like seeing the 'real thing' so try and catch a
play. Tel: 020 7902 1500 or see

Tate Modern. Just across the
river from St Paul's - go via the wobbly Millennium Bridge (it's
no longer wobbly!). This could be a controversial visit but art is a
matter of opinion. If you like a mixture of art then you'll enjoy Picasso,
Matisse, Monet and Warhol and many others plus extreme exhibits that make you
think. The audio guide is a good idea at around £1.Web
