Natural Museum of Science and Industry
The Science Museum is well worth a visit even if you're not very sciency - a whole day can fly by here.
The British Museum There is so much packed into this museum - something for everyone. A must.
British Library. If you have the slightest interest in literature then this should really be seen even if just briefly.
Victoria and Albert Museum. A bit exhausting with such a wide variety of things to see. Probably a good idea to take one of the free tours for an overview.
Natural History Museum just across the way from the V&A. Wonderful stuff from origin of the species type things to meteors. All kids learn about dinosaurs at school, there is a super example that is amazingly life-like. Well worth a visit.
Museum of London. Interesting trip through time. See London from before the Romans until now. Take the tube to the Barbican or St. Paul's. Phone 020 7600 3699
Imperial War Museum on the South Bank. Even is you're not 'into' war this is an education you shouldn't miss. It's free for kids under 16 and the over 60's. Tel: 0207416 5000
