WOODfair

Scottish
WOODfair 2005! From woodland walks to uniquely crafted
furniture, wood sculptures to bonsai trees, musical instruments to
sawmilling, the industries and crafts associated with Scottish
Timber are as diverse as the trees and woodlands themselves. Over
this two day event you will find out how Scotland’s natural
landscape generates some of the worlds most beautiful and sought
after products.
From furniture
makers to tree nurseries, wood smokers to boat builders this major
annual event aims to highlight the availability, versatility and
attractiveness of Scottish Timber, Scottish Woodlands and the people
associated with them. This year we have linked up with The Scottish
Tree Climbing Championships and Kinnoull Hill Woodland Users Group
to bring a Weekend of Wood to Perth City. Buses will
be transporting the public between venues to ensure that no-one
misses out!
