Tourist Information for  the Kyle of Lochalsh and Isle of Skye area

The Isle of Skye can be accessed by three routes - the bridge on the A87 at Kyle of Lochalsh (it is now toll-free), if you come via Invergarry on the A87 you will not be disappointed by the magnificent scenery (including the Five Sisters of Kintail); or you can access by ferry from Mallaig to Armadale  or by ferry in the high season between Glenelg and Kylerhea (this is a very small ferry and you go over a mountain pass to reach it on the mainland)
