Tourist Information for the Hebrides - Harris, Lewis, Uist, Benbecula & Barra

The Western Isles may be a ferry trip away from the mainland but are worth a visit - Barra with its rocky hills and cockleshell beach where planes still land - Harrris, treeless and rocky Lewis with peaty moorland and prehistoric sites -  both with wonderful beaches. St Kilda dark and alone except for her birds, the Uists with steep rocky hills and long beaches. Wonderful any time.
