You can go with the herder on the hillside and feed the reindeer. The centre has Santa's Bothy.

Cairngorm Mountain Experience


Cairngorm Mountain Railway
Winter skiing and snowboarding. Equipment hire and tuition available. In the summer take a ride up in the funicular railway and admire the views.

Highland Wildlife Park. Kincraig. Drive around the Main Reserve in your own car and then investigate the walk-round area by foot. They have a mass of animals - highland cattle, red deer, bison, pine martens, pole cats, wolves, otters, snowy owl, golden eagle, badger, red fox but to name but a few. Landmark Forest Heritage. Fantastic place for kids and adults. Absolutely not to be missed. Magical forest walks include a walk through the tree tops, very tall viewing tower. Bird and squirrel feeding areas. Indoors Micro World - brilliant even if you're not really into miniature life-forms. Kids activities include water raft and roller-coaster ride - all very green


Landmark Centre - lots of fun!
Parents can sit in the outdoor cafe and have a coffee while keeping a close eye on the kids - thoughtful layout! Lots more for a great family day out.

Loch Insh Watersports Centre. With 14 acres of forested land and 700 acres of beautiful Highland Loch to enjoy, there are plenty of activities for everyone
Fun at Loch Insh. Help!  I don't like heights.
Choose from a terrific range; Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Skiing, Fishing, Rowing, Biking, Archery, Rafting and Walking. Also, three adventure play areas perfect for younger children.

We also offer guided Landrover Tours with the opportunity to see the ancient Caledonian Pine Forest, highland cattle and red deer, as part of an exciting weekly programme of activities for all the family. A wide range or diversity of habitats can be found within Rothiemurchus. Woodlands of different kinds, wet and dry heathland, wetlands, grassland, river, stream and loch all provide a variety of locations where plants and animals can live.
