Christmas Eve Start with a welcoming Cumbrian afternoon tea to revive you after your journey. Then it is time to settle in or take a visit to the local church for the service, followed by a glass of mulled wine on your return to the hotel. Join us in the hotel bar for a cocktail, before dinner is served in the restaurant. After dinner, international cabaret artist, David Ford, will perform his American Legends show. Christmas Day At the salutation, breakfast will be served, followed by a visit from Santa with presents for everyone. During the morning, the chefs will have prepared a sumptuous traditional Christmas lunch. By the time you have finished eating, you will be glad to have an afternoon free to walk off the excess or to simply relax in the lounges. In the evening, there will be a gala buffet and a visit from the Lakes Hand Bell Ringers. After dinner, the hotel will be hosting our popular Christmas Quiz, so get your thinking caps on! Boxing Day The day starts with breakfast in the restaurant. Then our guests will be boarding the bus down to Waterhead for a cruise on Windermere. We’ll return to the hotel for a light lunch afterwards. After dinner, there will be entertainment 27th December Following breakfast this morning, it’s time to bid farewell once again. Take care on your way home, and don’t leave it too long before you visit again.
