Set on a private country estate in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this family-run hotel is conveniently located on the A65 Skipton to Kendal road. Discover the beauty and tranquility of this unspoilt rural area.

The Coniston Hotel is surrounded by miles of glorious and peaceful countryside, making it the perfect base for walking and enjoying all the Dales has to offer. However, if you prefer a faster pace, you can visit the cities of Manchester, Leeds and Harrogate. All of these are less than an hour away and you will find designer shops, galleries and many interesting city attractions. For more activity back at the hotel, you can choose from clay pigeon shooting, falconry, archery, fly fishing and much more.

    By Car:
    The hotel, located on the A65 Skipton to Kendal road, has nearby links to the M1, M6, M62 and M65.
    It is less than an hour's drive from Manchester, Leeds, Harrogate and Preston. From the M1:
    - Leave the M1 at the junction 42 intersection with junction 29 on the M62, then follow the M62 to exit 26. - Take the M606 to Bradford, following the Bradford ring road anti-clockwise onto the A6177. - Join the A650 to Bingley and Keighley, following the signs for Skipton and the A629. - Bypass Skipton (2 roundabouts) and at the 3rd roundabout (Little Chef/Burger King) take the A65 Kendal exit. - Proceed through the village of Gargrave and The Coniston Hotel is on your right after leaving the village of Coniston Cold (around 11 km/7 miles from Skipton).
