Set in 15 acres of mature private grounds, overlooking Portree Bay with views to the Cuillin Mountain range, enjoy some of the most spectacular views from any hotel in Scotland.

From the moment you arrive you cannot fail to appreciate the Highland setting. The hotel has been awarded many accolades, including 2 AA Red Rosettes for food and in 2006, Hotel Review Scotland's 'Staff of the Year' Award. Local attractions include The Isle of Skye Golf Club, a 9-hole course that offers spectacular views of the Red Cuillins, Ben Tianavaig and the Isle of Raasay. Cuillin Hills hotel guests receive special discounted green fees. At Whitewave outdoor centre, you can take part in canoeing, kayaking, climbing, windsurfing and many more activities. Enjoy traditional yet imaginative cuisine with superb views of the loch and Cuillin Hills. You are offered many choices using the finest ingredients available. Dishes include homemade breads, highland game, local seafood and traditional desserts. Fresh local produce is used at every opportunity. The hotel has been awarded 2 Rosettes from the AA and a level 3 dining award from the RAC. Service is friendly and unobtrusive and there is an extensive choice of wines to compliment any meal. Food is also served in the bar/conservatory at lunchtime and during the evening, for those who enjoy dining in less formal surroundings. Enjoy a drink from the extensive variety of malt whiskey and liqueurs, including Talisker (made on Skye), in the lounge with open log fire. The bar also offers outstanding views over the bay.

    Getting there

     

    From the Skye Bridge:
    - Follow signs for Portree (A87).
    - When you arrive in Portree, follow road signs for Staffin (A855).
    We are situated on the far outskirts of the town. - The hotel is signposted on your right hand side as you drive out of Portree, heading North. - Turn right at this sign and follow this road, over the small bridge and round to the hotel reception.
    The hotel is also signposted at the small bridge and at the bottom of the main drive. Parking:
