One of Edinburgh's most central hotels, this renowned establishment offers warm surroundings and modern facilities in a building that dates from the 19th century.

Situated in the heart of the West End, built in 1872, the Beresford formed part of the last phase of the New Town Development and was a private house until the early 1900's, when it became the first house hotel in the area. With all the attractions of this World Heritage city at your doorstep, including the shops of Princes Street, the Royal Mile and Old Town, it is pleasant to find a peaceful corner like the Beresford lounge in which to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

    The hotel is around the corner from Haymarket train station and 5 miles from Edinburgh Airport. A shuttle bus runs from the airport to Haymarket, 3 GBP for a single and 5 GBP return.
