  • Golf Courses (1 miles) - Morecambe Golf course is very near to the Elms and there are many other golf courses in this area. EG: Heysham, Lancaster and Kendal
  • Morecambe Bay/Lancaster (1 miles) - Morecambe Bay is very picturesque with stunning sunsets. There is a bowling alley, cinema, small fairground and shopping centre. Lancaster is a historic City with lots of places to visit and great shopping.
  • The Lake District (30 miles) - The Elms Hotel provides an ideal location as the 'Gateway to the Lakes'. Beautiful scenery, shops, walks, hiking and water sports or just a leasurely stroll are all approximately 30 - 40 minutes away.
  • Blackpool (40 miles) - Blackpool Pleasure Beach/Shows, Blackpool Zoo, The Tower, Fantastic shops, eating establishments are approximately 50 minutes away.

Getting there

 

Directions by car Leave the m6 motorway at Junction 34.
Follow the signs for Morecambe until you come to a large roundabout with a Brewers Fayre pub on the corner called The Shrimp Take the third exit onto Hall Drive, which is a straight road that joins onto Bare Lane.
Continue to follow the road over a railway level crossing and The Elms Hotel is approximately 200 yards on your right hand side.
DIRECTIONS BY TRAIN:
There are connecting trains for Bare Lane, Morecambe from Lancaster.
The journey will take approximately five minutes.
The Elms is approximately 200 yards from the station on your RIGHT HAND SIDE.

DIRECTIONS BY BUS Buses no.
3 or 4 from Lancaster Bus Station to Morecambe, are approximately every 15 minutes and takes you directly to The Elms the journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
