For more than 175 years the Pomme d'Or has been a focal point of Jersey hospitality. Today the hotel combines the strong traditions of guest hospitality & care with a new contemporary design.

Recently awarded 4 stars by the rac & aa, the hotel provides the highest standards of comfort and service to both the leisure and business traveller. Once you have settled into your air-conditioned bedroom, enjoyed a drink in one of our bars or a delicious meal in one of our outstanding restaurants, you can relax safe in the knowledge that you are ideally placed to enjoy the many treats that Jersey has to offer you. A short stroll will bring you into the heart of Jersey's main shopping & business district. The hotel is also an ideal base from which to explore the island, as within easy reach are the tourist information centre, taxi ranks, the bus station, inter-island, France and UK ferry terminals and Jersey's main sports and leisure complex, Fort Regent. The 'Pomme', as the hotel is affectionately known, has recently benefited from a 5 million refurbishment programme, with new bedrooms providing better facilities and more spacious accommodation. Our Conference and Banqueting facilities have also been recently upgraded to satisfy the demands of today's business visitors.

  • Jersey Museum (0 miles) - A visit to the award-winning museum is an excellent start to any stay in Jersey. Here you will find the real history, traditions and culture of the island explained in a way that is both exciting and understandable.
  • Elisabeth Castle (1 miles) - Built on a rocky islet in the 1590's, the castle was named after Queen Elizabeth I. The Hermitage, a small chapel, has been a holy place since the 12th century and is dedicated to the saint from whom the town of St Helier takes its name.
  • Jersey Zoo (5 miles) - Jersey Zoo is stretched over 31 acres and provide the international headquarters of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. It serves as the centre for breeding, research and training. Open every day except Christmas Day.
  • Living Legend (6 miles) - The Jersey Experience is a voyage through time. The Living Legend has its own Adventure Golf course,Craft and Shopping Village and a Go Karting track.Open from March until the end of November.

Getting there

 

One of the attractions of visiting Jersey for holiday or business is that you can fly from so many airports in the UK, Ireland or Continental Europe with well-known airlines.
In addition there are daily high-speed passenger and car ferry services from the south coast of England and France.
The hotel is located in the heart of St.
Helier overlooking Liberation Square.
A one-way system operates around the hotel and access to the square is only available eastbound from La Route de la Liberation. The main bus station is nearby, with regular services to the airport and all points across the Island of Jersey.
