- Holyrood Palace (0 miles) - Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh is The Queen's official residence in Scotland. Situated at the end of the Royal Mile, the Palace of Holyroodhouse is closely associated with Scotland's turbulent past, including Mary, Queen of Scots.
- Princes Street (0 miles) - A great west-facing view along Edinburgh's Princes Street. This is Edinburgh's busiest shopping street, right next to Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh Castle and the Scott Monument.
- Edinburgh Dungeons (0 miles) - In the heart of Scotland, buried lies the world's most chillingly famous horror attraction. Step through its imposing portal and you are at once transported to the darker, sinister side of Scotland's turbulent and troubled past.
- Edinburgh Castle (0 miles) - This most famous of Scottish castles has a complex building history. The oldest part, St Margarets Chapel, dates from the 12th century; the Great Hall was erected by James IV around 1510;
Getting there
From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street:
- Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road.
- Follow signs for the city centre/ Edinburgh zoo.
- Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8.
- Enter into Edinburgh carrying on Glasgow Road (A8).
- Go through the Drumbrae roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8).
- This will become Corstorphine Road (A8).
- Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8).
- Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8).
- Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street.
- This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street.
- Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street.
- Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street.
- We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport for approximately 20 GBP or take the air link bus for 5 GBP return.
The airport bus departs every 15 minutes.
Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station).
Reception and key collection is approximately a 7 to 10-minute walk from here.

Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. There is a fee for this service. The latest check-out time is 14:00.
Complimentary luggage storage is available prior to check-in. Storage is also available on the day of departure. There will be a charge for this service.
