The Rock Glen Country House Hotel is a beautiful hotel positioned on the coast. We are situated on Ardbear Bay, just south of Clifden, on the west coast of Ireland.
Originally built in 1815 as a hunting lodge, the Hotel has an unrivalled view of the Twelve Bens mountain range as you look over Ardbear Bay - the perfect location to get away from it all. The 27 bedrooms all have en-suite facilities, 14 of which are on the ground floor. Each room has a tv, radio, trouser press, hair-dryer and direct dial telephone.

Roundstone village (20 miles) - One of the oldest fishing villages in Connemara, built in the 1820's. Here you will find a busy little harbour and many wild flowers
Dog's Bay (22 miles) - A pretty white sand beach near Roundstone, great for swimming and watersports.
From Clifden, take the Ballyconneely/Roundstone road for a mile, then turn right at the Connemara Pottery crossroads. We are just a half mile from here, well signposted.
