• The Blue Planet Aquarium (3 miles) - The Aquarium has Europe's largest collection of sand tiger sharks, and one of the longest underwater walkways in the world. Watch hand-feeding displays by divers, brightly coloured poisonous frogs and touch creatures in the large shallow rock pools.
• Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet (3 miles) - Located by Junction 10 of the M53, the designer outlet is the largest in Europe and offers large discounts off name brands. To relax after all that shopping there is also a ten pin bowling alley and cinema located next door.
• Chester Cathedral (3 miles) - A place of worship for over 1,000 years, parts of the Norman Church begun in 1092 can still be seen within the building. Visit the beautiful monastic cloisters and gardens and purchase some of the Cathedral's own wine.
• Chester Zoo (4 miles) - Chester Zoo has a wealth of attractions that will guarantee a whole day's enjoyment. Visit the National Elephant Centre, travel on the Zoofari Overhead Railway to have a giraffe's view of the zoo and watch the sealions being fed.

By Car:
From the M6 and M56:
- Take the M6 to junction 20 and join the M56 towards Chester.
- Continue to the end of the M56 ignoring the turn-off to Chester.
- At the end of the M56 (ends at a roundabout) follow the signs for Queensferry and North Wales taking the A5117 (approximately half a mile) to the next roundabout (Little Chef on your left).
- Turn left onto the A540 towards Chester for about 2 miles.
- After 1.5 miles you will pass a pub on the left, the road then bends to the right.
- Continue for about a quarter of a mile looking out for the hotel, which is on the right-hand side, set back from the road. Taking the M53 From Liverpool:
- Take the Wallasey Tunnel (Kingsway) from Liverpool, taking signs for M53 motorway.
- Join the M53 towards Chester to junction 10.
- Turn right at this roundabout, taking the 3rd exit onto the A5117 signed Queensferry / North Wales. - Go straight across each roundabout until the 6th roundabout (Little Chef on your left).
- From here follow the directions as above.
