Information about the hotel

The Chester Residence opened in 2003. It is a fashionable townhouse in the West End of Edinburgh. The Hotel is within walking distance of excellent shopping, the commercial district, galleries and museums.

It comprises five elegant self contained suites. Each has a beautifully fitted kitchen and they are ideal for guests requiring space and privacy, but still with all of the benefits of a luxury hotel. The suites are the ultimate in comfort, they are ideal for business meetings and perfect for a holiday. Each suite is furnished with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture, quality fittings and fixtures. Each day, you are provided with a continental breakfast. In addition, you can choose from a house menu and a selection of fine wines and champagne. We will also supply a supper menu for in house dining. The Chester Residence will provide everything you would expect from a five star hotel, except a restaurant. You are, however, within walking distance of many of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. Maid service is provided daily.

This luxurious 1st floor suite offers plush carpets and huge ceiling cornices. The most remarkable features, however, are the sheer space and massive windows that let the light flood in.
