Information about the hotel
The cosy Clew Bay Hotel offers a warm welcome the moment you set foot inside the door. Newly refurbished, it retains all the character and ambience of a family run hotel.
The popular Madden's Bar, with its stained glass and contemporary theme, features music in an elegant setting. The Riverside Restaurant on the tranquil banks of the Carrowbeg River offers a bright airy setting for a gourmet meal. Alternatively, Le Bistro@Maddens offers a contemporary dining experience.
The Clew Bay Hotel is centrally located for exploring the historic 18th century market town of Westport, Achill Island and Connemara. The area offers opportunities for fishing, walking, surfing, playing golf or just lazing on one of the many isolated golden beaches of County Mayo. You can enjoy full access to Westport Leisure Park, located next door, compliments of the Clew Bay Hotel, which includes a 25 metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym and spa.
Westport is a unique and charming Irish town, as it was laid down to the plan of the prominent 18th century architect, Robert Wyatt. It is also a bustling and traditional market town.
