Situated adjacent to the bustling market town of Clonalkilty, West Cork. Ireland's Tidiest Town 1999 and European Floral Winner 2001. The hotel opened in 1999.

Welcome to the superior three star Quality Hotel & Leisure Centre Clonakilty. Comfort & style are an integral part of this modern hotel, where both the business individual & family are well catered for. This unique hotel's facilities include: 97 en-suite bedrooms (which are complete with direct dial telephone, hair dryer, TV and tea/coffee making facilities). Lannigan's Restaurant. Oscars Bar. Award-winning Leisure Centre with 20m indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gymnasium and two treatment rooms where holistic and reiki massage therapies are available upon request. We now also have a playroom for young children and the games room for the older ones is professionally run & equipped to occupy & entertain the kids for hours on end. Also for the kids there is a creche and an outdoor playground. Kid Kamp also runs during July, August, midterms and bank holidays. There are five executive Holiday Homes which opened in June 2001 and an additional 12 two-bedroom suites opened in March 2002 adjacent to the hotel. Finally the three screen multi-plex cinema completes the complex. An ideal destination for your breakaway.

  • Clonakilty (1 miles) - Clonakilty has been designated as West Cork's Heritage Town by Failte Ireland, and a visit to the town soon shows why. It is a region blessed with some of Irelands most spectacular scenery
  • Inchydoney Beach (4 miles) - Inchydoney Beach, which at one time was an Island is situated 4.5km from Clonakilty. The beauty of The Island (as it is still known locally) with it's magnificent beaches
  • Fota Wildlife Park & Fota House & Gardens (56 miles) - At Fota Wildlife Park you can come face-to-face with over 90 species of exotic wildlife! Appreciate the tranquil surroundings and see conversation in action. Situated just 20 minutes drive from Cork City Centre off the N25 and take the Cobh exit.

Travelling by sea:
Which is ideal for those who wish to use their own car, there is a choice of 3 ports of arrival.
The closest port of arrival is Ringaskiddy which is just outside Cork City.
Ringaskiddy serves Swansea in Wales and Le Havre, Cherbourg, Roscoff and St.
Malo in France.
Next Rosslare which is located in the south-east corner of Ireland is suitable for those who prefer a shorter sea journey.
From here, Fishguard in Wales is just 90 minutes away by Sea Lynx.
Standard Ferries (Irish Ferries) also serve Fishguard and Pembroke in Wales, and Cherbourg and Roscoff in France.
Finally Dun Laoghaire just outside Dublin links with Holyhead in North Wales for visitors coming from the Midlands and Northern England.
TRAVELLING BY RAIL:
If you have arrive in Ireland by air or sea at Dublin/Dun Laoghaire or by sea at Rosslare, a comfortable way to travel onward to Cork or Kerry is by train (Iarnród Éireann).
Kent station in Cork is less than 5 minutes walk from the city centre.
