Located one mile from the city centre, this distinctive Victorian hotel with a bar and restaurant is within walking distance of the university and Royal Berkshire Hospital.

A privately owned and managed hotel built in the 1890s, Comfort Inn Reading is centrally located by the Oracle Shopping Centre and Reading business parks, with Thames Valley and Green Park close by. Many rooms have been recently refurbished and offer modern facilities. The restaurant and lounge bar offer a friendly atmosphere and quality food and service. Air conditioning is available on request. Comfort Inn Reading will be open at Christmas on a room only basis. The restaurant and bar will be closed. The hotel is non-smoking.     - At the roundabout, follow signs for the B3270 to Shinfield and the Royal Berkshire A&E Department.
    This road runs parallel to the motorway, passing Foster Wheeler on your left.
    - At the next roundabout, turn left onto the Shinfield Road heading for Reading and passing the European Weather Centre.
    - Keep driving straight over 2 mini roundabouts, following signs for Reading University.
    - Drive past the university on your right.
