In the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons, Penrhadw Farm has spectacular mountain views and offers a range of comfortable accommodation to suit the needs and budget of any traveller.
With a superb location just outside the unspoilt village of Pontsticill, the farm is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The open farmland surrounding the farm’s main building adjoins the park, so you can enjoy the stunning natural beauty of this landscape from the minute you step out of the front door. The great access to the region’s major road network also makes the farm a convenient base for exploring Mid and South Wales.
Penrhadw Farm offers luxury en suite bed and breakfast accommodation in the main building, as well as self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation in several separate, well-equipped, detached holiday cottages.
The quality of this award-winning luxury farm guest house has been recognised with 4 AA Red Diamonds and 4 stars from the Welsh Tourist Board.
The accommodation is of a high standard. The cottages each sleep from 6 to 8/9 people and are exceptionally spacious and well-equipped. The cottages can be used as self-catering accommodation or guests can enjoy a full breakfast in the main farmhouse. The main building houses 7 luxurious rooms offering accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. The 7 cosy bedrooms include single, twin and double rooms and there is also a spacious lounge with a TV and video, which is available for the use of residents.
One and 2 bedroom apartments in Merthyr Tydfil are also available as serviced accommodation, for stays from one night to one month.

Harris Cottage
This 3-bedroom house is sometimes used as a family suite and offers wonderful views of the Pontsarn Valley to the south, the Brecon Beacons to the north and Morlais Castle 18-hole golf course to the south-west.
Outside is a landscaped garden where you can relax on sunny days and the cottage also offers plentiful car parking space.
An award-winning luxury cottage, Harris Cottage has one en suite master bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms which share a 2nd bathroom on the landing. 2 of the bedrooms have double beds, with the other bedroom having 2 twin beds. Additional beds are available in the cottage on request and, with the addition of these extra beds, up to 7 guests can be accommodated. Downstairs there is a large kitchen/dining room with an oil-fired twin-oven Aga and fitted kitchen units with plenty of workspace. The lounge has comfortable sofas and armchairs.

This attractively furnished room has an adjacent en suite shower room and colour-coordinated curtains and bed covers. The room looks out onto the courtyard, with Pontsarn valley to the south-east. Cribyn Cottage
This 4-bedroom detached, stone-built luxury cottage is located in the grounds of Penrhadw Farm, overlooking the Pontsarn Valley and Morlais Castle 18-hole golf course. The majestic Brecon Beacons are to the north and Pontsticill reservoir and the Brecon Mountain Railway are within sight.
The cottage has 2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people with extra folding beds or futons. The master bedroom is en suite and there is an additional bathroom for the adjoining bedrooms.
