Information about the hotel

This hotel is positioned on the banks of the River Windrush, in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water.

The hotel’s bar and restaurant serves a full menu to suit all tastes, and the extended riverside patio is the ideal spot for watching the world go by in the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. If you prefer a quieter spot, there is a small pond-side patio at the rear of the restaurant. For centuries, the quaint village has been recognised as a typical Cotswold village, and a popular tourist attraction. The hotel’s comfortable, pleasant rooms are ideally located for exploring the area’s numerous sights. The Old Manse Hotel was built for the Baptist minister, Benjamin Beddome, in 1748. It was a gift from the locals so that he would not be tempted away to work in London or Bristol. For guests' comfort, the whole building is now non-smoking. This includes the bar area and all rooms.
