This luxury boutique hotel is ideally situated in the village of Windermere and is just 5 minutes walk past many fine restaurants, shops and pubs down to Lake Windermere.

21 The Lakes was originally a wealthy Edwardian gentleman's second home and has many attractive period features. The hotel is excellently situated for exploring the beauty of the local area. You can cross over the main Lake Road to start an enchanting and romantic woodland walk leading to a footpath beside Lake Windermere and the Steamboat Museum. Only a few minutes walk will bring you to the lake shore at Bowness where you will find boats for hire and steamers for lake cruisers, giving you time to enjoy the outstanding scenery.
