Information about the hotel

Superbly located overlooking the Thames, this historic hotel dates from 1640 and is ideal for visits to Ascot & Henley. The Compleat Angler is also close to Windsor Castle and is the ideal starting point for a walk along the river.

Many of the Compleat Angler's 64 stylish rooms have romantic views of the river. All rooms are fully equipped with satellite television and cd player, Playstation, modem and a video channel. A selected number of rooms have also been given a sophisticated, contemporary feel by leading interior designer Ann Boyd. From the Riverside Restaurant, look out through the beautiful stained-glass windows on to the water crashing over Marlow Weir. Our Head Chef's sure touch has won a clutch of awards for The Riverside. Our sommelier will guide you through our fine wine list, which features creative New World choices, as well as a selection of the European greats. For an informal lunch or supper, choose Alfresco's Brasserie, located in a charming conservatory overlooking the river and a favourite spot for locals, offering a delicious choice of dishes.

    From the m4:
    Exit the m4 at junction 8/9, then take the a404(m) northbound to Marlow and Oxford.
    Turn left at the first roundabout and go through Bisham village for 1 mile.
    From the M25:
    Exit at junction 15, onto the M4, then as above.
    From the M40:
    Exit at junction 4, then take the A404 southbound as far as the roundabout.
    Next take the third exit to Bisham.
