The building, originally a 17th Century farmhouse, is situated in 9 acres of countryside and is 2 miles from the Belfry. The hotel is 7 miles from the NEC and 2 miles from the M6 toll road.

The property borders Birmingham/Frazeley Canal. A short distance from nec and Birmingham International Airport & 1 mile from the Belfry Golf Complex and close to Birmingham City Centre. Marston Farm is a Country House Hotel and is an attractive alternative to the commercial city centre hotels. Drayton Manor Park, Warwick Castle, Cadbury World and Tamworth's Snowdome are only short distance away. 19th Century Prime Minister and founder of the police force, Robert Peel, previously owned the hotel, and although it has been developed over the past 200 years, Marston Farm retains its country charm and character with comfortable decor, Inglenook fireplaces and deep armchairs. The popular Courtyard Restaurant is renowned for its excellent food. The permanent clear-span marquee is a popular venue for weddings. There are six meeting rooms of different sizes and ample free car parking. The hotel is very popular as a venue for meetings and conferences because of the comfortable surroundings, pleasant atmosphere and first class service from the experienced staff.
