A character 18th Century Georgian Hotel situated in the heart of Penzance, ideally located for all local attractions. An ideal base for tourists and business people alike. Personal, professional service.

We are non corporate and believe in attention to detail. The hotel has been totally refurbished, bringing it right up to the 21st century. Digital televisions, wireless internet, en-suite bathrooms with power showers and, of course, very comfortable beds. Whether you are touring Cornwall, visiting for business or just getting away from it all, we promise you a happy, relaxed and memorable stay. We have recently undergone a complete refurbishment, maintaining the Georgian features of the building whilst bringing all rooms up to 21st century standards. Cooked breakfast is included with the booking to make sure you start the day in the right way.

Local Attractions

  • St Michael`s Mount (3 miles) - A small island accessable by foot at low tide. Enjoy the spectacular view from the castle where Lord & Lady St Leven still reside. Heading out of Penzance follow the signs for Marazion on the A30.
  • Minack Theatre (8 miles) - Open all year round this is the most spectacular open air theatre in the country.Let the magic of The Minack touch you with its beauty. From Penzance take B3315 to Porthcurno. At te seaward end of the valley go up the winding hill.
  • Lands End (10 miles) - The Last Labyrinth an award winning multi media show. Out of Penzance follow the signs A30 to Lands End
  • Isles of Scilly (40 miles) - A unique group of islands off the cornish coast with a magical atmospher. Once visited you will return year after year. Flight available from the Heliport for a day trip or scenic flight. Ferry also available from Penzance Quay.

Getting there

 

By road; Upon reaching Penzance by the a30 you will pass the Heliport on your right.
At roundabout continue straight on following signs for town centre.
Drive up through the town centre, passing the Humphry Davy statue on your right.
Turn right at top of the High Street and continue through traffic lights.
At the mini roundabout turn right, passing police station on your left.
Continue to the top of the hill, passing Hospital on your left.
At mini roundabout turn right.
Now stay on this road (St.
Clare Street), after about 150 metres the road bears right then left and becomes Clarence Street.
We are 75 metres down on the left.
Public transport:
10 minutes from Railway - Walk up through the town centre, past the Humphry Davy statue, continue to walk until you reach the crossroads.
At crossroads turn right into Clarence Street.
We are 100 metres up on the right hand side.
