The Best Western Shrubbery hotel in South Somersetis an elegant Victorian hotel owned and run by the Shepherd family for over 45 years. The building with many fascinating feactures stands in over 1 acres of lawns and shrubberies .. The historic buildings and gardens provide the perfect setting for weddings and banquets, ensuring that that special occasion is a day to remember. The entire hotel is non smoking. The hotel is set on the site of an original house dating back to the late 17th Century. Rebuilt in the 1850s is was extensively refurbished in Edwardian times and became a hotel in 1932. The 16 room , 3 star hotel has the elegance and relaxed atmosphere that one would expect of an Edwardian country house. The hotel has the largest ballroom in the district and several function rooms and is a popular venue for both social and business occasions. The hotel is surrounded by 1 acre of lawns and shrubberies.
