Situated on the coast in Old Hunstanton, with grounds that stretch down to the seashore to one of the finest beaches in Norfolk, the hotel offers old world charm complemented by personal service.
Best Western Le Strange Arms Hotel is ½ a mile from Hunstanton Golf Club and is an ideal base to visit some of the country’s finest stately homes, including HM the Queen’s country home at Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Halls, with Norfolk Lavender and RSPB Titchwell just 5 miles away.
In the evenings you can choose to dine in a relaxed and informal manner in either the hotel restaurant or the Ancient Mariner, the adjacent village pub with real ales and hearty food.
The hotel originated from a farmhouse built in the 1600s and has been continuously developed over the years. One of the hotel's unique features is that, whilst situated on the East coast it faces due-West, overlooking The Wash (one of the largest estuaries in Britain) and giving a perfect view of Norfolk sunsets.
The hotel has a conference and banqueting suite seating up to 130 people.
Whilst the hotel has no ground floor bedrooms, there is a lift to the first floor.

COMMENTS: Due to our busy function suite, our premier rooms are affected by noise transference mainly on a Saturday evening until approximately midnight.
As from January 2008 we are undertaking some building work to add to and improve our facilities during the early part of the year. This is restricted to minor works and will not affect guests or public areas as from late September. Major works will take place adjacent to the hotel work will be screened off and every effort will be made as to not disrupt guests.
