Information about the hotel

A splendid Georgian house set in its own wooded grounds, perfectly situated on the edge of The Ribble Valley. 16 individual styled rooms, one to suit all occasions and budget whether for business or pleasure.

Sparth House is perfectly situated on the edge of the Ribble Valley, within easy reach of the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland. The house was built in 1740 and oozes Georgian splendour and Victorian charm. We offer a choice of four stylish conference rooms catering for up to 150 delegates, along with morning coffee, lunch, as well as afternoon tea and full accommodation. Sheridans Restaurant within Sparth House has an extensive a La Carte menu and is open 7 days for lunch and dinner. Bar snacks also available. Please advise us if you are going to be a late arrival.

All suites are individually styled, luxurious and spacious. You can choose (subject to availability) either the four-poster suite, master suite, or a suite with furniture from the RMS Olympia (sister ship of the Titanic). These rooms represent excellent value for money, they have full shower facilities and contain the same amenities as the executive rooms. Saturday reservations: Please be advised that our standard bedrooms are located above our function suite, where weddings are held. Although the music finishes at 00:30, some noise will be encountered. Please check with the hotel as to whether a function is being held on the date. Alternatively a suite or executive room is recommended. more info

    - When leaving the M65 at junction 7, follow signs towards Whalley and Clitheroe, not Accrington. - At the 1st set of lights from the motorway, turn right. - At the 2nd set, turn left onto Whalley Road. - The hotel is then located approximately 800 metres (half a mile) on the left-hand side, immediately after a 2nd set of lights.
