Situated within the city walls, this modern-style hotel with views over the River Ouse and York Minster is ideally placed for exploring the excavated Viking streets, The Shambles and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. The courtyard restaurant offers an extensive menu in a relaxed environment, while the banqueting and conference suites will accommodate functions of up to 300 guests. There are 13 dedicated meeting rooms offering exceptional facilities for 2 to 400 delegates. CANCELLATION POLICY: null COMMENTS: Guide dogs accepted. The hotel is embarking upon a refurbishment project for their guest rooms. The entire refurbishment project will commence on 2 June 2008 and is expected to be completed by mid December 2008. Renovation work will take place between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday and from 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays. The management assures all guests that there will be minimal disruption. All food and beverage outlets and the leisure club will be operating as usual during this program.
