Local Attractions
- Archway Theatre (1 miles) - Located in the railway arches at Horley, the Archway Theatre only has 95 seats. Nicknamed the 'little theatre', Archway Theatre presents 10 productions every year and has a youth workshop which meets fortnightly and stages a production each summer.
- Gatwick Aviation Museum (3 miles) - The Gatwick Aviation Museum features a unique collection of British Aircraft including aircraft manufactured by English Electric, Avro, de Havilland, Hawker, Fairey, Blackburn, Percival.
- The Hawth Theatre (8 miles) - Owned by Crawley Borough Council, The Hawth is a lively arts venues playing host to an exciting mix of theatre, dance, music, comedy, concerts, film and exhibitions.
Getting there
By Car (from the M23):
- Exit the motorway at junction 9 towards Gatwick.
- Travel past the 1st roundabout (South Terminal - junction 9A).
- Turn right at the next roundabout (North Terminal) joining the A23 and follow the signs to Redhill.
- After 100 metres you will come to another roundabout (Longbridge roundabout), turn right onto Brighton Road, still following the A23 to Redhill.
- At the set of traffic lights, turn right into Massetts Road.
- Acorn lodge is immediately on the right, located at the junction of A23 (towards Horley from Gatwick) and Massetts Road.
Courtesy Pick-up from Gatwick Airport:
- Please inform the hotel if you require a courtesy pick-up from Gatwick Airport, and if so, the estimated time of arrival (flight number if arriving by plane).
- When you arrive at the airport (either at the South Terminal or North Terminal) you need to follow signs to the courtesy coach pick-up point.
- It is located on the ground floor, just outside of the terminal building and is signposted.
- Then you can call the hotel either using the free phone located at the pick-up point (our unique number is written on the board) or on the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- Please note that we will be at the airport approximately 5-10 minutes after your phone call.
