6 km (one mile) from the centre of Taunton. The owners have opened up 3 of the original inglenook fireplaces and a complete working well, over 12 metres (40 feet) deep, which was uncovered in the kitchen. Please note that there are 2 very rare and friendly Dandie Dinmont Terrier dogs at the hotel.
