Information about the hotel

Welcome to the Thorlee, situated on the harbour front in the town of Stornoway. Located right in the centre of the town, we are an excellent base for business travellers or for touring the island.

We are located in the centre of Stornoway, the capital of the Western Isles, accessible by sea or air. We are only five minutes from the airport and 5 minutes by car or one minute's walking distance from the ferry terminal which is the main travel link to the Western Isles. We are one of the most centrally located establishments close to the main facilities (museums, sport centres, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, banks, etc.) We extend the island's warmest welcome to all visitors.     Coming by sea, the Thorlee is easily seen from the ferry terminal.
    Exiting the terminal road, turn left, then go straight on over the mini roundabout.
    When you pass the bus station, turn into the carpark.
    The Thorlee is situated opposite the town hall.
    Coming by air, a short 5 minute taxi ride will take you straight to us.
